Chocolate Fudge Frosting

1 lb semisweet baking chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp light corn syrup
1/2 stick unsalted butter, cut into pieces

1.  Bring cream, sugar, and corn syrup to a boil over med-low heat, whisking
2.  Remove from heat and add chocolate, whisking until melted
3.  Add butter, whisking until smooth
