1 lb. wide egg noodles
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
juice of 1/2 lemon and 1/2 orange
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
6 apples, cored and peeled, sliced thin
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts
1. Cook egg noodles, cooked al dente and drained.
2. Beat the eggs with an electric mixer until foamy. Gradually add the sugar and mix well. Add the salt, lemon juice, orange juice, vanilla, and baking powder, mixing well.
3. Stir in the noodles, butter, apples, and raisins. Pour into a greased 1 1-2 qt casserole dish.
4. Combine toping ingredients and sprinkle over the casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If the topping begins to brown too much, cover loosely with foil.
