Sour Cream Pound Cake

2 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 cups flour
6 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 325.

Cream butter and sugar together.  Mix in sour cream.  Sift baking soda and flour together.  Add to the creamed mixture, alternating with the eggs.  Add vanilla.  Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.  Bake 1 hour 20 minutes.

Serve with fruit or warmed pie filling.
