Microwave Gingerbread Cake

1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup molasses

Sift together dry ingredients.  Beat sugar and butter.  Beat in the egg.  Stir in milk and molasses.  Stir in dry ingredients.

Grease bottom of a 3-qt casserole.  Grease the sides of a glass, 2-inches in diameter.  Invert glass in center of casserole.  Pour batter around glass.

Microwave 5-6 minutes, until just set.
