Easy Pot Roast

4-5 lb French Roast
3 Tbsp margarine
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp pepper
1 box (4 cups) beef broth
2-3 large onions, halved

1. Blend garlic, salt and pepper into margarine.  Rub all over top (fat side) of roast.

2. Pour beef broth into roasting pan/Dutch oven.  Add roast and onions.

3. Cover and cook 4 hours (3 hours for a 3 lb roast) at 275 degrees.

4. Refrigerate. Slice before reheating at 350 degrees for 30-60 minutes.
